武汉警官职业学院2024年单独招生《英语》考试大纲

高职院校单独招生考试是普通高校招生考试制度改革的一个重要组成部分，是教育部授权部分高职院校独立组织考试录取的一种方式，根据高等职业教育英语课程突出职业性、应用性的特点，并参考《普通高中课程方案（实验）》和《普通高中英语课程标准（实验）》两教材制定该大纲。 

一、考试内容目标与要求

1.语言知识

要求考生掌握并能运用英语语音、词汇、语法等基础知识，要求词汇量为3000左右。

2.语言技能

通过听、说、读、写、译五种技能的学习与训练，要求考生掌握基本的综合技能。有效运用所学语言知识进行清楚、连贯地传递信息，表达意思。

二、考试内容和考试范围

1.语法。主要考查考生的基本的语法知识。包括基本句型、基本时态及语态、非谓语动词、倒装句、强调句、复合句（如主语从句、宾语从句、定语从句、同位语从句等）、虚拟语气等方面的语法知识。

2.词汇。主要考查考生的词汇量以及词汇的构成、辨析何运用。主要包括名词、形容词、代词和介词的辨析和运用，常见动词、情态动词及动词短语的时态、语态、词组及词义辨析，同时考查学生运用词汇对上下文的逻辑关系（如并列、递进、因果、转折、对比、例证、指代等关系）、句子连贯性的理解及英汉互译能力等方面英语语言知识和语言技能。

3.阅读理解。主要考查考生的英语语言的综合能力。题材和体裁包括记叙文、议论文和说明文，考查学生对人物、科普、事件等具有哲理性的文章的理解，以细节题为主，兼有少量的推理题、词意题和主旨题，答题难度适中。要求考生能读懂书、报、杂志中关于一般性话题的简短文段以及公告、说明、广告等，并能从中获取相关信息。考生应能：

(1) 理解文章的中心思想，篇章结构；

(2) 理解文中词、句和段落主题句等具体信息；

(3) 理解作者的意图、观点和态度，作出判断和推理。

4.翻译。主要考查考生对词的搭配、句子的基本时态和语态、句子结构、基本翻译技巧等的理解和应用。考试形式为完成句子（用括号所给词的中文提示完成句子），难度适宜。 

三、考试形式和分值

 本次考试为闭卷考试，三大题型，20小题，满分40分。

1.单项选择题。10道题目，每题2分，计20分；

2.阅读理解题。10道题目，每题1分，计10分；

3.词组填空题。 5道题目，每题2分，计10分。

Passage One

It was raining hard when a traveler at last got to an inn. He was cold and wet, but there were so many people in the inn that he could not get near the fire. The traveler knew that the men around the fire would never move away from it if they did not have a good reason for doing so. He decided that there was only one thing to do in this situation. “ Give my horse some fish to eat.”

The inn-keeper took some fish and went out to the horse. All the people in the hall ran out to see what would happen when he gave the fish to the horse. The traveler took off his wet coat and hat and sat down in front of the fire to warm himself. Several minutes later, the inn-keeper appeared, together with all the people who had been in the room. They were all smiling with satisfaction at the thought that they had proved the traveler was wrong. Your horse refused to eat the fish, as I told you,” the inn-keeper said proudly.

“That is not important,” the traveler said, “Put the fish on the table. When my clothes are dry, I will eat it myself. ”

Passage Two

“Listen!” Mr. Lee said seriously at the beginning of his first class, “I will put a lie into each of my classes. Your job is to try and catch me in the Lie of the Day.”

That was really a clever way to fix our attention on the dry and boring subject-geography. Then in the following weeks, we didn't let off every single word of what he was saying in class and challenged（质疑）his lectures. When his class ended with nobody seeing through the lie, Mr. Lee would say, “Ah ha! Each of you has a lie in your notes. Discuss among yourselves what it might be, and I will tell you at the end of this term.”

Mr. Lee’s special style of teaching worked. All of us reviewed and discussed about our notes actively.

One Monday at the end of the term, Mr. Lee listened carefully to what we were questioning for almost ten minutes. Then he finally said, “Do you still remember the first lesson how I said that every lecture has a lie?”

Confused, we said yes. "Well, that was a real big lie. In fact, all the lectures I’ve given before are completely true. But I am glad you worked so hard. Move on ...”

Hearing this, all eyes in the classroom went wide.

While my geography knowledge has been forgotten over time, the lessons have stayed with me. "Experts" can be wrong and say things that sound right, so build a habit of evaluating（评估）new information and check it against things you already accept as a fact.
